Night Orphan

Cereal, milk-box orphans band together,
Your mothers are crying amongst the stars.

Fill the city's trash heaps with smiles and life,
Rumble in the tight alleyways and fight with the cats.

Let the snow fall on your cardboard kingdoms,
Let them sag onto your soiled drawers.

Look into the crystal balls and see what Cupid
Has painted a painterly black: the minds of others !

Eat the thrown out cabbage and wait for the next,
When you throw it up, make your sound illegitimate.

Come natural, naturale; bastard chile, nature's
One and only child. Look up, look up

Your mothers are dying, taken to the stars.
You look so miserable; smile small at the chance.
