Sun-kissed Leaves

Sun-kissed leaves hang tenderly
Opening with a gentle breeze
Reactive and moving, the sun-kissed leaves.

I nap upon such luscious pastures
With kindred branches hanging over,
Inviting to a quiet thought for Dover.

Shapes of ships and smiling faces
Gliding past the opaque sky,
Vast and blue; passing by.

My eyelids come closer and closer,
Until I hear my nasely breath,
I slip away into deliverance’s rest.
